The law broadens a tied-house exception for small containers of distilled spirits and wine, allowing supplier representatives to move products from storage to shelves in limited circumstances.

What the law does ​

• Allows authorized alcohol manufacturers, wholesalers, and representatives to restock off-sale shelves and refrigerated boxes with beer and qualifying spirits or wine products.
• Covers distilled spirits and wine containers of up to 500 milliliters, whether sold individually or in multipacks, if intended to be consumed without mixing.
• Replaces the prior single-serve size ranges of 50 to 355 milliliters for spirits and 187 to 355 milliliters for wine.
• Retains limits on supplier services, including the general ban on regular inventory replenishment for other wine and spirits products.
