Postsecondary education: segments: tribal colleges and universities

The law recognizes California-based tribal colleges and universities operated by Indian tribal governments as a segment of public higher education.

Context ​

The amended provision applies through December 31, 2029, and the same recognition becomes operative again on January 1, 2030.
